UT1072 Downtown Recycled Water Pipeline

Ontario, CA

,

The proposed project involves constructing approximately 20,128 linear feet of new recycled water mains, installing roughly 300 linear feet of lateral connections, and converting approximately 2,440 linear feet of existing potable water mains to recycled water service along Euclid Avenue and several adjacent streets, extending the City’s recycled water distribution system to irrigate street medians, the Civic Center complex, and city parks.

Ganddini Group prepared a noise technical memorandum and a combined air quality, greenhouse gas, and energy technical memorandum in support of the project’s CEQA review with the City of Ontario (Ontario Municipal Utilities Company).

The studies found construction noise and air quality impacts would be less than significant, consistent with the nature of the underground utility work.

A Mitigated Negative Declaration for the project was released for public review in June 2025.
