The proposed project involves a Zone Change from 7,500-square-foot to 5,000-square-foot minimum lot sizes and a Tentative Tract Map (TTM 38042) subdividing a vacant 6.44-acre site north of Verona Road into 31 single-family residential lots, adjacent to the former Palm Springs Country Club golf course.
Ganddini Group prepared a vehicle miles traveled (VMT) analysis, a focused noise analysis, and an air quality and greenhouse gas technical memorandum in support of the project’s CEQA review with the City of Palm Springs.
The studies found less-than-significant impacts across VMT, noise, and air quality, with no mitigation required.
The project was approved by the City of Palm Springs in September 2022.
